welcomeWelcome to the official Aliso Niguel NHS Website! National Honor Society is an organization designed to honor exemplary high school students who have shown outstanding performance in Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Members are well recognized by their fellow peers and teachers and contribute extensively to their community. If you are interesting in applying for this organization, attend the announced mandatory meetings near the start of the school year. For returning members, here you will find copies of monthly agendas, library tutoring lists, and service hour forms. New events as well as other important notices will be listed on this website. Additionally, we will attempt to update individual hours/informational as soon as forms/hours/attendance are turned in. Be sure to report to your officer to check up on the latest status updates. Enjoy!

Hey guys!
Well, Rose Parade Decorating is gone and over. I know many of you might not have gotten the best job around. This year we got pretty unlucky, but at least the food was yummy.
However, I do hope that many of you decide to participate in this decorating for years to come and encourage more of your friends to participate as well.

Anyways, I saw a lot of you take some great pictures. We would love to post those pictures on our website so that everyone can see how awesome and active our club is.
Check out: http://www.anh-nhs.com/gallery.php to see pictures of NHS events.
If you're interested in helping our website grow with your pictures, please email us at . I'll send you instructions on how to upload the pictures.

Thanks, and keep volunteering!
New Members' Party

Congrats new inductees! You're officially National Honor Society members! The new members' party was a great success and I hope everyone that attended had lots of fun. I would like to give special thanks to all the executive council members (especially Megan who hosted this whole party) for making this possible. We captured this awesome festive event on camera and here it is (Thank you Janine for editing these videos!):

Photo Gallery Redesigned
Posted by David Wang
Hey everyone, the photo gallery(click here to view) is now redesigned and contains different albums as well. Currently it includes pictures from the Pasadena Rose Parade Decorating, Christmas Caroling, NHS Banquet, Water Sale, and even the lastest induction ceremony! New members, this is a great opportunity to see all the fun we experience as NHS members :) If any of these events seem interesting to you (including old members) please sign you with your Vice Presidents/Officers. Don't forget, if anyone has any NHS related pictures, email them to to have them posted on the website. Enjoy!

Welcome back to school! For those of you interested in applying for National Honor Society this fall, there will be an informational meeting in the ANHS Theater during lunch this Thursday, September 18th. I highly recommend anyone interested in applying attend, as we will be going over important information about the application process and club itself. A copy of the new member application can be found [here]. Update: New Member Applications will be due October 16th. Please give it to the front office to have it placed in Mrs. Novak's mailbox.

For returning members, there will be a general meeting on Tuesday, September 30th. Your service hours won’t be due until the October meeting, but we will be discussing important details for the 2008-2009 school year.

We’re off to a great start so far and I hope to see everyone soon!
